Each angler must be a paid member of Bad Bass Boys to compete in any event. All angers must be a current member in good standing to include any of the following: There will be no exceptions.

LIMIT: 5 fish in possession, unless otherwise specified. Exceeding the limit is automatic disqualification.
OFF LIMITS: Is defined as; in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws/ordinances. The Director may
have areas as “off limits” during the safety briefing.
Bad Bass Boys Tournament Directors will make the final judgment on all violations.

LIABILITY RELEASE: By entering any Bad Bass Boys event, you release all agents, officers, employees, sponsors and government agencies from any and all damage claims and/or costs, relating to injury to any person or property which may sustain or be caused in connection with an event. You are required to have full insurance. Competing in any event the angler is responsible and releases any and all liability of members of Bad Bass Boys. A release waiver MUST be signed prior to fish in the event

Failure to read and understand these rules does not constitute justification for violations. No excuses will be tolerated.
Event registration:
Each angler must be a paid member of Bad Bass Boys to compete in any event. All angers must be a current member in good standing to include any of the following: There will be no exceptions.
- Is a current and active league member
- Has fished in B3 small tournaments in the past 2 years
ANGLERS MUST:
- Attend tournament rules and regulation meeting Location and times TBD
- Have all tournament fees paid prior to event.
- Allow live well and boat check prior to entering water boat will be marked and tagged
- Fish from the boat and not leave the boat to land fish or to make the boat more accessible to fishing waters.
- Team consists of maximum of 2 anglers
- Use common sense and courtesy when near other boats.
- Maintain 100’ distance from other tournament boats
- Catch fish live and in a conventional manner using one line per angler. Live bait and trolling are PROHIBITED. Only artificial lures may be used with the exception of pork trailers.
- Fishing only with line and reel – NO exceptions
- Fish only in and on designated lake
- “Culling” is legal
- All bass must be hooked in the mouth while site fishing
- Snagging any bass will result in disqualification
- Life vests must be approved for use and worn at all times when large motor is in gear and in motion.
- Fishing is not allowed while the large motor is in use
- All angers must be seated during large motor use
- No passing another boat through marked “No Wake” areas.
- Obey all state fishing regulations. (Violation WILL result in disqualification)
- Obey all Bad Bass Boys rules. (Violation WILL result in disqualification)
- Never use alcohol or illegal drugs during events. If deemed under the influence or intoxicated, by the director results in automatic disqualification.
- Practice courtesy and professionalism at all times.
- Landing nets can be used
- 5 fish to the scales – Small mouth or Large mouth bass only
- Tournament directors called weight at the scale is final.
- Sign a release of liability and consent form prior to tournament check in
PRE-FISHING:
- NOT allowed 3 days prior and the day of the event. Penalty will result in a Zero (0) weight for that event. For clarifications - event is on Saturday - lake is off limits Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and for pre fishing.
WEIGH-IN: using pounds and tenths.
TIES:
- 1st tie breaker- all fish alive
- 2nd tie breaker- total # of fish
- 3rd tie breaker- big fish
- 4th tie breaker- coin toss
PENALTIES:
- All bass under 12” will not be weighed. Tournament directors at the scale measure stick is final. Fish are measured by closing mouth and pinching tail. Any part of the tail that touches the line is a legal fish.
- All fish brought to the scale are final, there will be no substitutions or additions after the bag is received
- Any collusion between teams will result in immediate disqualifications
- Dead Fish: 1 pound penalty.
- Late to check in time: 1 lb. per minute
- Any violations listed

Boat and Motor
- No minimum horsepower
- Maximum horsepower – 400hp
- No restrictions on boat length
- Working kill switch
- Working live well
- Any non-working equipment listed above will required repair and be in working condition prior to resuming fishing.
- Boat safety features will be verified and checked, boat will be tagged at each event. Failure to allow a boat official on board to conduct inspection result is immediate disqualification.
