I think so. I've had the privelage of joining tail walker fishing lures. They make football head jigs and possibly the best walk the dog topwater bait around.
I'm sure somewhere along the line you have fished a walk the dog type topwater bait and I'm also sure at some point in time you have become fatigued or wore out. It takes a lot of work and wrist motion to work these baits, but the rewards are good. The tail walker is different.
The tail walker has a tail in the back that sticks into the water. As you work the tailwalker it pivots on the tail. Because of this tail it allows the tail walker to be worked much easier and much more effectively and at much sharper angles if need be. The action of this bait is outstanding and its so versatile. Fas, slow it doesn't matter. This bait will plain catch fish.
I recommend throwing this bait on a 6'6" med graphite rod with 10-20lb mono line. You can work the bait with braid or fluorocarbon, but as most know those two lines sink. The fact that they sink is going to pull down the nose of the bait and make it difficult to work. The mono floats and that’s going to help you work the bait, but braid or flourocarbon will work if you need it/
The tail walker is a great bait that sets the new standard for topwaters. Give yourself a break and get a tail walker and you won't be dissapointed.
