One of the most ironic aspects of fishing is the fact that even though your trying to catch fish out of water, it’s incredibly important that the angler themselves must keep hydrated.

If you're fishing out of a boat this is simple. Just put a cooler full of water and other beverages on the boat, and you're good to go. The problem comes in with all of us anglers who fish while wading or simply from the bank. Carrying water or any liquid to stay hydrated is a bit more difficult for those of us who don't fish from boats.

For me, the scenario used to go something like this: I would stuff my fishing vest with as many cool bottles of water as I could, knowing that I would be on the river for four or five hours.
