Just got back from Minocqua. Obviously you can guess I'm a musky guy, but after pounding the water for 7 days harder than I ever have before, I'm convinced there are no muskies in that lake. (Minocqua chain) My son and I put in a solid 8 hours per day in seemingly ideal conditions to no avail. You bass guys will love this--we caught about a dozen 2-3 pound largemouths on those musky lures!! Baits as big as the fish!!

Anyway, a bad week fishing is still better than my best day ever at work.

Muskyfins

I have had numerous days of no fish this year. I keep telling myself it's the heat or low water.....I can't possibly be me I was fishing a tourney on Saturday and had a Muskie blast out of the water about a foot and a half in the air. He inhaled my frog and took off. I never even felt him pull he just cut the line. He scared the crap out of me so bad when he slammed my lure, I had to look around to make sure nobody saw my reaction.
