Launched on N Center yesterday and ran around to the bridge heading to S Center. My forward gear cable broke leaving us with only reverse gear. Fished our way back to the ramp. Caught 6-7 bass and one big sunny. What a great way to spend opener.
cool Jim. Next time take a camera and snap a few pics. I remember one summer trolling in minnesota with a 6" jointed rapala. We were just trolling back to the cabin and in 30 ft of water my buddy hooked up and it ended up being a huge bluegill. Hook in the mouth, I couldn't believe it.

We found most of our bass on small jig heads and 4 inch power worms. Most bass were very shallow, the bass we caught were "raw" on their bellies, either just came off the spwan or are getting nests ready. in between neighbors docks is where we found most of them.
